Creating your own MyMuseSite is very easy. We have some demos on the demo page, but this will show you how easy it is to get started.

1. Choose our hosting package and we will install it for you. Then choose your theme.
OR: Signup and download your MyMuseSite folder (zipped) along with a theme you like. Following the simple instructions, unzip the files and upload the whole thing to your web hosting server.

2. Open your MyMuseSite Administration page and change the colors to match your taste. You can change the graphics here as well. And it's ok to leave the theme as you found it... getting your content in quick and getting online. You can come back and customize any time you want.

3. Choose the pages you want to display and name them. Put them in the order you want them to display in. Add the page titles and Meta content for search engine bliss. Each page has its own meta management, content display (single, double, triple column with optional top and bottom content areas... whew!) and specific page customization.

4. Now enter your content. Just type it in or cut-and-paste from your word processor. You can also insert graphics or photos to spice your pages up nicely.

5. If you want to do business online, create your product line by entering the image, description, pricing informaton and shipping fee. Very simple and elegant store interface. Fill in your PayPal Email address and you are ready to go.

6. Modify your "Terms of Service" page "Privacy Policy" page and your "Thanks for Ordering" page to suit your business model. These pages are in addition to your 10 content pages.

7. If you want a contact form, choose it in your administration and you are ready to go.

Customization:

We feature three levels of customization:

Easy Level:
You can see the colors of all the elements in our "Stylin' Guide". Click and change the different page elements to suit your taste. You can upload a new background graphic as well if you want.
Designer Level:
If you are familiar with CSS, you can change the file even more, making it do a lot of different things. You can add styles on a per page basis, or change the main style sheet and upload it. With a MyMuseSite there simply isn't any page layout you cannot do and still maintain the CMS managability of the content.
Professional Level:
Create your own site with CSS and upload it. We have a base CSS sheet you can take to add to, but the ID's and classes must stay named the way we have them. Additonal ID's and classes are no problem to add, so have fun. Developer level users can even create new parts of CMS per page by creating a MuseMasterPage (information in the members area). We have many MuseMasters developed already, but if you need something very unique, it is very easy to do.
